My Story
My journey with PCOS began long before my medical training. Like many women, I spent years struggling with irregular cycles, weight fluctuations, and frustrating symptoms that conventional medicine couldn't fully address.
After being diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance in my early twenties, I became determined to find natural, sustainable solutions—not just for symptom management, but for true healing that could support my future fertility.
This personal experience guided my education in Human Kinetics at the University of Windsor and later my Doctor of Naturopathy Degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. I dedicated my training to understanding the complex hormonal and metabolic factors that influence PCOS and fertility.
Through research, clinical practice, and my own health transformation, I developed a comprehensive approach that combines nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and targeted supplementation to address the root causes of PCOS and optimize fertility naturally.
Today, I'm passionate about sharing this knowledge with women who, like my former self, are searching for answers and effective solutions for their PCOS journey—whether they're trying to conceive, navigating pregnancy, or adapting to postpartum changes.
Why I Do What I Do
Having walked this path personally, I understand the frustration of being told to "just lose weight," "take birth control to regulate your period," or "come back when you're ready to have children" without addressing the complex metabolic and hormonal imbalances that lie beneath the surface of PCOS.
My approach is different because it's born from both my background in science and experiences. I believe in empowering women with knowledge about their bodies, creating personalized strategies that work with their unique biochemistry, and supporting them through every stage of their hormonal health journey.
Whether you're struggling with symptoms, planning for pregnancy, or looking to optimize your health for the long term, I'm here to guide you toward sustainable solutions that honor your body's natural wisdom and healing capacity.
Let's work together to transform your relationship with PCOS from a constant struggle to a journey of empowerment and vibrant health.
